Responsibilities
- Coach, develop, and support team members
- Manages personnel, material, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Implements and maintains Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Lead OEE improvement across all areas
- Building cities.
- In both the Allison Transmission and Allison Off-Highway Drive and Motion Systems business units, our team strives to Improve the Way the World Works.
- Manages lower-level supervisors or team of professional/technical employees.
Requirements
- Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years prior Supervisory experience in manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of basic technology of area where assigned.
- Knowledge of scheduling and other management systems.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental practices.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Ability to adapt to changes in responsibility based on business needs.
Nice to have
- 5+ years prior Supervisory experience in manufacturing setting
