About the role

  • This role is ideal for a hands-on operator with a strong technical foundation and a builder mentality.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute all core accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable financial systems, controls, and processes to support accurate forecasting and budgeting
  • Own monthly close, compliance reporting, and variance analysis to support continuous performance improvement
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain to ensure accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting

Requirements

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP or similar accounting systems

Nice to have

  • SOX experience preferred

  • As Accounting Manager, CPG, you will play a critical role in bringing our accounting operations in-house and establishing scalable, best-in-class financial practices. This individual will manage the financial close process for this business unit, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the division's ledger. As the organization scales, this role will play a critical part in enhancing close operations, supporting audits, and contributing to financial system improvements.
  • Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounting Manager will own the financial close process for Feastables and other CPG areas, ensure regulatory and banking compliance, and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.
  • You will serve as a key partner during external audits, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, support system implementations, and drive process improvements to accelerate the close cycle.
