  • Position Impact: The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of a warehouse, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking, and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
  • They may use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory, and may also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
  • A warehouse assistant will also be responsible for conducting inventory counts, documenting inventory movements, and preparing reports for management.
  • Qualifications and Experience: • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship • Minimum of 18 years of age • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred • A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory • One to two years of experience working in a warehouse or similar environment can be helpful in understanding the duties and responsibilities of a warehouse assistant • Familiarity with basic computer skills, such as using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications, can be useful in performing some of the duties of a warehouse assistant • Forklift certification: Some warehouse assistant positions may require a forklift certification, which can be obtained through training courses and testing • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English as the primary language used in the workplace • Proficiency in Spanish Language desirable
