About the role
- We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Substitute Teacher to join our educational team.
- In this vital role, you will step into classrooms across various age groups providing consistent, engaging, and supportive instruction to ensure student learning continues seamlessly in the absence of the regular teacher.
- Provide all necessary documentation to the center director and ensure all digital record keeping is up to date via the state system.
Responsibilities
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - Understand, speak, read, - Provide day to day audio and visual supervision of the children while in the classroom and on center property.
- Ensure all safety and hygiene standards are met or exceeded. - Maintain classroom materials and remove those that need repair and communicate those needs to the lead teacher. - Aid the lead teacher in maintaining a prepared age-appropriate child environment that follows all center and state policies.
Requirements
- The environment must be cleaned following all center and state policies and procedures. - Communicate information from the lead teacher through center approved channels.
- All state requirements can be found in the WAC's or via the DCYF website.
