Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to support communities in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, by conducting vital autism assessments for patients currently facing long waitlists.
  • Your expertise will help bridge the gap in access to essential services, providing hope and support to those who need it most.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) with a focus on child psychology or related field OR Pediatric Psychiatrist.
  • Experience in conducting autism assessments and familiarity with standardized assessment tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R).
  • Ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.

Skills

  • Conduct comprehensive autism assessments for children currently facing long waitlists.
  • Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to evaluate developmental, cognitive, and behavioral aspects.
  • Provide clear and concise assessment reports, including diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in autism assessment and intervention.
