- Job Details The Business Analyst is responsible for evaluating complex operational challenges, identifying root causes, and delivering data-driven recommendations that improve business performance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex operational performance, identify root causes of business challenges, and develop actionable recommendations to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data visualizations that provide meaningful insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational trends.
- Utilize SQL and business intelligence tools to extract, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple systems while ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Partner with operational leaders and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define analytical requirements, and develop scalable reporting solutions.
- Evaluate business processes and recommend improvements that enhance operational performance, reduce costs, and support organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain reporting documentation, business definitions, and analytical processes to promote consistency and data governance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to improve reporting logic, data structures, and business intelligence capabilities.
- Support strategic initiatives through data analysis, performance measurement, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- These represent the desired qualifications of the ideal candidate.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Required: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in business analysis, operational analytics, business intelligence, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
- Required: Experience developing dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Required: Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze large datasets.
- Required: Experience analyzing operational performance metrics and presenting findings to business leaders.

- Education
- Relevant certifications (preferred), such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Lean Six Sigma.
- Experience
- Preferred: Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, logistics, or operations-focused organizations.
- Preferred: Experience with workforce planning, labor productivity analysis, or operational performance reporting.
- Preferred: Experience working with enterprise systems such as Workday, SQL Server or similar data platforms.
