About the role

SUMMARY The Connections Associate is responsible for casting the vision, strategically planning and daily implementing the activities and atmosphere of the Connections ministry at Pinelake's Madison Campus.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Learn Pursue a growing relationship with Jesus through consistent time in God's Word and prayer.
Continually grow in your understanding of the Jesus-Centered Life (salvation, identity, life, and authority in Christ).

Responsibilities

Lead Take ownership of disciple-making by personally investing in others and helping them move toward a Jesus-Centered Life.
Equip and release others by developing Servant Leaders and multiplying disciples who Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.

Requirements

Perform administrative duties such as compiling reports, preparing expense reports and completing purchasing orders, as required by management and as specified by church policy.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public and church members and regular attendees.
The individual must have the ability to understand written or oral instructions
The individual must have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, and budget and expense monitoring.

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop plan for creating and implementing welcoming environment for all attendees of Pinelake's Madison Campus.
Develop an effective leader recruitment strategy that is reproducible and sufficient for meeting the goals of the ministry.
Build and lead a team that consists of servant leaders who champion the vision and mission of Pinelake Church.
Cast Pinelake's Vision and Mission for the discipleship pathway amongst our Connections Teams regularly.
Utilize ROCK (church management system) as the main communication among leaders, members, and pastors.
Equip the entire ministry in the same way.
Work with other ministry teams to recruit and provide follow up for prospective team members.
Collect, share, and celebrate stories that reflect how God is working through our ministry in staff meetings, elder reports, etc.
Prepare and manage budget for areas of responsibility.
Pursue intentional leadership growth within Connections Ministry through consistent cross-campus collaboration, professional development, networking, conferences, and ongoing learning.
Assist other ministers in the successful completion of regular worship services and special events, specifically in the
