  • This role is responsible for managing environmental investigations, remediation projects, client relationships, and multidisciplinary project teams while providing technical leadership and mentoring to staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
  • Provide technical support, mentorship, and guidance to staff scientists, engineers, geologists, and field technicians.
  • Participate in business development activities and support the growth of the environmental practice.
  • Through an integrated, holistic approach, our professionals provide solutions for building envelope, energy efficiency, sustainability, code advisory and construction advisory projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of environmental consulting experience.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively leading project teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with California environmental regulations, remediation programs, and regulatory processes.
  • Experience supporting construction-related environmental projects.
  • Local Southern California environmental consulting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring junior staff and supporting technical team development.
  • Professional licensure as a Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

Compensation

  • Senior Project Geologist/Engineer: $130,000-150,000/year
  • Project Geologist/Engineer: $110,000-130,000/year
