About the role
- As 7AI takes on more of the SOC's non-human work, the systems underneath have to scale with it, or the platform becomes the bottleneck instead of the fix.
- You'll join our core R&D team as a Senior Software Architect, helping define and evolve the technical foundation of our platform as we scale.
- You'll work across engineering, product, and AI teams, designing systems that are reliable, scalable, and ready to use new AI tooling.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve system architecture across the platform, keeping it scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to design systems that balance fast delivery with long-term flexibility.
- Lead technical decisions and weigh trade-offs across performance, cost, and complexity.
- Turn ambiguous business or product needs into clear technical approaches and system designs.
- Mentor engineers and act as a technical thought partner across teams.
- Help build a culture of curiosity and experimentation with AI across the organization.
- 20+ years of software engineering experience, with deep expertise in system design and architecture.
- Broad AWS cloud architecture experience, including designing and building complex data plane and control plane systems.
Requirements
- A track record of designing and evolving distributed, scalable systems.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems clearly.
- Experience with data pipelines, highly scalable systems, and cloud native architectures and services.
