Responsibilities
- At MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions ("MacMiller"), the Northwest's leading mechanical contracting firm, we design, deliver, and service HVAC, plumbing, and automation system solutions for commercial buildings.
- Special Projects - Retrofits and mechanical repairs for existing buildings to create new efficiencies.
- Energy & Sustainable Solutions - Acting as the Prime Contractor, we deliver design-build, energy-efficient solutions in the built environment for both private and public sector clients.
Requirements
- What Will Help You Thrive Current or ability to obtain NEBB Certified Professional (CP) certification within one year of hire.
- Extensive experience testing, adjusting, and balancing commercial HVAC systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system operation, controls, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- A trusted leader who earns respect through integrity, technical expertise, and a collaborative leadership style.
- Highly organized with the ability to balance field leadership and hands-on technical work.
Skills
- Establish a positive project culture built on teamwork, accountability, safety, and clear communication.
- Demonstrate expertise across critical TAB certifications, including:
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality while maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Lift and carry testing equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Safely work from ladders, lifts, rooftops, and elevated work areas.
- Stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and move throughout active construction sites for extended periods.
- Read gauges, interpret testing data, and communicate effectively in both mechanical rooms and occupied spaces.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures, noise levels, and environmental conditions.
- Consistently demonstrate and promote safe work practices while complying with all company and jobsite safety requirements.
Compensation
- $65 - $75 per hour paid in accordance with the union wage scale.
