Responsibilities
- Delivers services to program participants both virtually and at Apopka High School.
- Establishes, implements, and delivers college readiness curriculum and workshops with a focus on college access navigation, financial literacy, family outreach, and career exploration.
- Collaborates with Manager to meet program internal goals and objectives.
- assist participants with course selection to meet graduation requirements and develops/monitors Individual Academic Plans (IAPs).
- Maintains appropriate and accurate student records
- maintains contacts in Blumen database
- and documents student participation in project services.
- Reviews progress and report cards and develops academic success plan for students.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience

- Demonstrated success building meaningful relationships with students, families, community partners, or other stakeholders from varied backgrounds.
- Experience conducting presentations, facilitating workshops, or delivering educational programming to groups.
- Knowledge of college access, career exploration, educational pathways, or student success initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Finalist will undergo a Level 1 and 2 background check per UCF requirements for working with minor youth. This position requires a Level 2 Background Check through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) Clearinghouse prior to employment.
- The position is provisional and is grant-funded through August 31, 2027, by the U.S. Department of Education/TRiO. Employment is subject to availability of funding and may cease at the time funding for this employment is depleted.
- All applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and the university cannot accommodate H‑1B transfers or employment-based visa processing for individuals currently sponsored by another employer.
- Position requires a valid Class E driver's license. This position may involve driving to various locations on and off campus to conduct University business.
