About the role

  • Montgomery College accepts applications for Adjunct/Part-time Faculty on a continuous basis.
  • Applications may be reviewed periodically based on the student enrollment needs.

Responsibilities

  • Teach up to 2 courses in Graphic Design per semester. Prepare course materials, syllabi; evaluate and grade student assignments.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in graphic design, or related area.
  • Experience teaching courses at the college level.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and advise students.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Software
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without a sponsor.

Nice to have

  • Recent teaching experience at a college or university.
  • Knowledge of UI / UX
  • Knowledge of Figma
  • Knowledge of creative workflows using Generative AI tools

  • If selected, the applicant is expected to conduct a teaching demonstration.
