About the role
- The SS&C Market Data team provides global market information-equities, commodities, derivatives, indices, fundamentals, research, news, and more-across the SS&C product ecosystem.
- Improve quality, reliability, performance, and usability of Market Data services
- Contribute to automation roadmap and expand integration test coverage
Responsibilities
- Maintain CI pipelines, test data, and pre-production environments
- Build and maintain automated test suites for APIs, services, system flows
- Develop holistic automation strategy with fellow SEITs
- Analyze requirements and implement structured QA methodologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS, Engineering, Math, or related fields
- 1-3 years software/automation development experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Experience in Financial Technology industry
- Test automation experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Strong knowledge of HTTP and REST APIs
- Experience testing real-time applications
- Experience with one or more languages: C#, C++, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools: Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket
Skills
- Familiarity with AI tools.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
