About the role

  • SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide expert Business Technology guidance to end users.
  • Installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of computer desktop, mobile, and tablet systems.
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Testing and evaluating new technology.
  • Manage all types of business technology projects, monitor applications, and provide analytical solutions to resolve technical issues.
  • Provide system configuration and application upgrade support.
  • Analyze and develop plans to improve the quality of the Technology Solution systems.
  • Maintain system and data integrity during change control and management processes.
  • Other duties as requested.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Works with servant leaders.

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or Equivalent Work Experience.
  • Minimum of two years of technical support experience with MacOS, iOS, Windows, VMWare, Azure Cloud Services including Azure Active Directory, Office 365 and Ring Central are a plus.
  • Proficient in the use of online and remote-connecting software.
  • This position requires the ability to examine, question, explore and troubleshoot a variety of issues.
  • Applicable experience may substitute for portions of the educational framework.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS The individual must be able to understand written or oral instructions; read, analyze and interpret documents, instructions manuals, and policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, email and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy.
  • COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of Windows/MacOS to complete tasks (including word processing and spreadsheets) and the ability to use the internet for information retrieval.
  • The individual must be able to apply basic mathematical concepts and operations to such tasks as accounting, budget management, and financial expense monitoring.
  • The individual must have the ability to read financial information and spreadsheets.
  • REASONING ABILITY The ability to simultaneously conceptualize and plan multiple tasks; project outcomes using different implementation strategies; and apply creative and innovative thinking to problem situations is required.
  • The ability to work effectively and efficiently under stressful conditions to ensure deadlines are met is essential.
