About the role

  • The Fund Accounting Senior Analyst serves as a primary operational contact for the department and must provide a superior level of service.
  • In addition, the position requires a level of supervisory responsibility, assisting the team with assigned duties and organizing special projects.
  • Review quarterly fund financial statements prepared by other members of the department and third party administrators

  • Maintain and review cash positions entries for various private equity funds
  • Manage aspects of departments core functions

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (B.A., B.S. or B.B.A.)
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be detail oriented and organized and possess excellent analytical skills
  • The candidate must have an understanding of partnership accounting and experience with financial reporting.
  • The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively and operate in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment where priorities often change.
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in an accounting/financial industry setting

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of private equity fund services industry preferred
