About the role
- General Description: The Financial Systems Senior Architect provides expert architectural guidance to help Finance align technology solutions with organizational goals and objectives.
- This role requires broad technical expertise across networks, cloud computing, software development, cybersecurity, and automation tools.

Responsibilities
- Lead and train on documenting and maintaining architecture standards and design by diagramming logical, physical, and process views across multiple technology domains.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide insights and recommendations on FST solutions.
- Collaborates with Technology and Vendors as needed to construct diagrams and maintain documentation for FST infrastructure landscape.
- Leads research-focused efforts to identify emerging technology solutions and communicates the findings in a manner that is logical and easy to understand.
- Applies advanced analytical judgment to diagnose complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
- Manages multiple priorities, plans work effectively and delivers high-quality results within established timelines.
- Works independently, takes ownership of deliverables, and maintains focus on long-term business outcomes.
- Builds productive working relationships through collaboration, facilitation, and effective negotiation.
- Provides guidance and knowledge sharing to support colleagues' development and team effectiveness.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple enterprise architecture domains (technology, application, information, and infrastructure).
- 5+ years of experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C#, Python, HTML, CSS, JSON/REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, and Shell.
- 4+ years of experience in cloud computing architecture, technical design, and implementations, including (IaaS), (PaaS) and (SaaS) delivery models across multiple different cloud vendors (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Provides technical input and recommendations on projects and roadmap development as required.
- Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.
