- Valle del Sol is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrated behavioral health team.
- This position provides psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and ongoing treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment services.
Responsibilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
- Integrated Care & Collaboration Collaborate with therapists, case managers, care coordinators, primary care providers, and other members of the treatment team.
Requirements
- BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Experience treating children, adolescents, and adults.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong psychiatric assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary care teams.
Nice to have
- Preferred One (1) or more years of psychiatric prescribing experience.
