- The Medical Lab Scientist will ensure the prompt, efficient, and accurate delivery of laboratory test results for medical prognosis and research, manage documentation for quality control and compliance, maintain laboratory equipment and inventory, participate in quality initiatives, and perform assigned CLIA roles to support various lab operations and
Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Comply with document and record management requirements.
Requirements
- Conduct ongoing documentation of all processes as required (e.g., QC, compliance, appropriate usage of material/ equipment/ PPE).
- Perform quality control activities (e.g., reagent, analyzer), document results and escalate issues as required.
- Collect quality data, as assigned, and assist in Quality Program initiatives as required.

- Position will work 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. Sunday-Thursday.
- Recent Core Lab, Chemistry or Hematology experience is preferred.
Compensation
- In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St.
- Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
- This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
- It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
- A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $29.00 - $50.50 per hour for the role of Medical Lab Scientist-Core Lab Midnight Shift.
