About the role

  • Asheville Recovery Center is looking for a dedicated primary therapist to join our team.
  • Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Asheville Recovery Center provides a supportive environment for individuals recovering from addiction and alcoholism.
  • As a Primary Clinician at Asheville Recovery Center, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of roughly 8-9 clients at a time.

Requirements

  • 2 years (Required)
  • Therapists & Counselors: 2 years (Required)
  • CADC (Required)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of alcohol and chemical dependency treatment, rehabilitation programs, and dual diagnosis experience.
  • Understanding of the range of treatment and interventions needed for chemically dependent individuals.
  • Empathizes well with others
  • Caring/ Compassionate
  • Minimum of 1 year of direct clinical experience is preferred.

Compensation

  • $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
  • Core responsibilities/Day to Day activities
  • Development of treatment plans based on individual problems and needs.
  • Maintaining weekly contact with client's family
  • Weekly one on one sessions with caseload of 8-9 clients
  • 7-9 hours of facilitating groups weekly
