About the role
- These positions report directly to the DRO Business Manager and will help ensures efficient and effective operations of the DRO Admin services.
- Contributes to staff development by mentoring, coaching, providing direction, and assisting in performance monitoring of team members in a supportive/collaborative learning environment, with DRO Manager.
- Frequently assesses performance of staff using a data driven approach.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Develop and/or maintain respective Standard of Work (SOW), policies and procedures pertaining to the DRO Referral & Administrative process operations, while ensuring they are complete, up-to-date and communicated.
- Frequently assesses performance of staff using a data driven approach. Identify improvement needs, develop and implement improvement strategies in liaison with RMP's management team.
- Provides direct supervision, enhances staff engagement and capacity building of the Department of Radiation Oncology (DRO) Referral & Administrative Teams.
- Manages all aspects of day-to-day operations in collaboration with other Admin
- Team Lead and DRO Business Manager.
Requirements
- Supports or lead other DRO or RMP projects and functions, including HR processing, as required.
- Perform Referral or Administrative duties, when required for uninterrupted patient care.
- Completion of Grade XII or recognized equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years related office administration support experience required.
- Demonstrated leadership, motivational and team building skills, required.
- Experience with implementing change initiatives.
- Ability to effectively handle confidential matters and materials required.
- Ability to use good judgment in assessing difficult situations required.
- Highly organized and efficient, ability to manage competing demands and efficiently work under pressure required.
- Knowledge of applicable legislative, UHN and/or departmental policies.
Nice to have
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Previous on-the-job computer/word-processing, database and spreadsheet software experience required.
- Experience in a Microsoft Office environment preferred.

- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation
- $28.42 - $ 35.52 per hour
