About the role

The Engagement and Wellness Coordinator at Hillel enhances the student experience by fostering meaningful connections, cultivating community, and creating opportunities for personal growth and leadership development through a wellness-informed approach.
Student engagement initiatives that foster belonging, meaningful relationships, and active participation in Jewish campus life.
Wellness and educational programming that promotes healthy habits, resilience, and life skills.

Serve as a key member of the Hillel staff team, building meaningful relationships with students and fostering engagement in Jewish campus life.
Provide in-the-moment support to students in crisis, case management, and referral to appropriate resources.
Maintain confidential records of students with whom there is involvement.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect authentically with students
Weekly supervision from the campus director and support of a greater interdisciplinary team

A cohort experience with professional development and professional development support through Hillel Ontario and Hillel International

A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (Masters level preferred)
