About the role
- The Engagement and Wellness Coordinator at Hillel enhances the student experience by fostering meaningful connections, cultivating community, and creating opportunities for personal growth and leadership development through a wellness-informed approach.
- Student engagement initiatives that foster belonging, meaningful relationships, and active participation in Jewish campus life.
- Wellness and educational programming that promotes healthy habits, resilience, and life skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the Hillel staff team, building meaningful relationships with students and fostering engagement in Jewish campus life.
- Provide in-the-moment support to students in crisis, case management, and referral to appropriate resources.
- Maintain confidential records of students with whom there is involvement.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect authentically with students
- Weekly supervision from the campus director and support of a greater interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- A cohort experience with professional development and professional development support through Hillel Ontario and Hillel International
Nice to have
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (Masters level preferred)
Compensation
- Salary of $55,000
