Responsibilities

  • May support the development of training products for new engineers.
  • May lead small engineering teams to support larger projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and analytical skills required Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly in regulated environments.
  • Proficiency with aerospace-relevant CAD tools (e.g., Creo, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, composites, special processes).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
  • Ability to work effectively across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related STEM discipline 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Design or Manufacturing Engineering Must be a U.S citizen.
  • Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication, organization, scheduling, and analytical skills required Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly in regulated environments.

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in an Engineering discipline or other STEM related field 5+ years of experience in defense industry or related area SAE ASA-100 certification

Skills

  • Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and aerospace configuration management practices.
  • Experience with supplier technical management and contract manufacturers.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
