About the role
- Harbinger Motors is a VC funded early-stage electric vehicle startup based in Garden Grove, California focused on the commercial space.
- We are currently seeking an ambitious engineering student to join our HV battery testing team.
- As an intern, you will have various opportunities to contribute to the characterization and validation of Harbinger's industry-leading battery technology.
Responsibilities
- Support design engineering and testing functions
- Develop and execute test plans, including fixture design, test method development, data logging, and reporting
- Support data analysis
Requirements
- Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous internship experience required
- Ability to write Python scripts to facilitate data analysis
- Work authorized in the United States OR ability to obtain J-1/F-1 visa
Nice to have
- Prior experience with instrumentation and data acquisition sensors preferred
- Prior experience in automotive projects is preferred, but not required
Skills
- Comfortable using hand tools, fabricating simple wiring projects, and debugging low-voltage test setups
Compensation
- Earn an hourly rate of $25-35 USD per hour.
Benefits
- A $1,000 relocation stipend is available for interns currently residing more than 50 miles from Garden Grove, CA.
