Aims Community College partners with over 70 high schools across Northern Colorado, providing students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school.

This will require at least two (2) years (4,000 hours) of approved experience in Diesel Vehicle Service.
ASE G1-Certification must be obtained prior to first day of classes.
Must have the knowledge of, and experience with, personal computers as well as using systems relating to automotive service repair and automotive service instruction.
Must be able to build test banks, operate and maintain automotive service indust
Submits course syllabi and other required documents on time.

Associate's Degree in related field such as Diesel Power Mechanics OR the ability to obtain this degree within two-and-a-half-years (2.5) of beginning employment: plus,
Current industry license/certification plus 6,000 hours (3 years) of relevant industry experience.

Acquire and/or maintain certification.
Attend conferences, workshops, and/or training appropriate to one's field.
Complete coursework related to one's teaching assignment.
Create teaching methodology and instructional design.
Other activities that contribute to keeping current in the content field.
Helping the College meet the goals and objectives of its mission and strategic plan.
Provide competent advising to students seeking AAS, AS, and/or AA Degrees and program certificates.
Fulfill College service requirements by making meaningful contributions on campus and/or to community service groups.
Serve on department, division, and institutional committees.
Assist in program and curriculum review, revision, and the development and assessment of learning.
Maintain classrooms and/or labs.

This position is eligible for an additional annual stipend ranging from $4,373.40 - $6,093.37 depending on the applicant's education and/or years of applicable work experience.
This stipend is subject to annual renewal and is not a part of the base salary.
These experiences range from Career and Technical Education (CTE) certificate pathways to full associate degree programs.
This specific faculty position is a collaboration between Aims Community College and Weld RE-4 School District, supporting the launch of a newly established Career and Technical Education Center.
