About the role

  • Conduct sales development best practices through email, phone, and social activities using the various software tools to connect with new prospects.
  • Utilize smart, targeted questions to speak knowledgeably to qualify the right decisions makers.
  • Coordinate meetings/demonstrations on account executive's calendar and log activities in CRM.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise at using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects (Cold calling, LinkedIn, Outreach, Sales Force, ZoomInfo, etc).
  • Skillfully build interest and influence opportunities with new prospects.
  • Ability to assist others with viable techniques to drive overall team performance.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and persuasive messages.

  • Must be based in Washington DC/commutable distance
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate the product's unique value proposition and quickly gain in-depth product knowledge.

Compensation

  • $60,000 base / $80,00 OTE
  • Hiring Locations: Must be based in Washington DC/commutable distance
  • Work Schedule: This is a hybrid position.
  • 3 days in office in Washington DC (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days working remotely.
  • Position Overview:
  • The Diligent Business Development Representative (BDR) plays an instrumental role in the direct growth of Diligent by seeking new business opportunities through prospecting and engaging with potential clients.
