About the role
- This onsite assignment runs for 11 weeks, with instruction taking place Monday through Thursday from 7am to 2pm EST.
- This is a 1099 contract role requiring onsite instruction for the duration of each cohort assignment.
- Candidates should be local to the assignment location or willing to travel for the duration of the cohort.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate proper technique for a given skill and provide live step by step tasks for students to perform
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and prepare and plan for future modules, as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience teaching surgical technology, including course delivery, assessment, and student support
- 3+ years of experience working as a Certified Surgical Technologist in a clinical setting
- Experience with digital tools for teaching and reading lesson plans
- Experience teaching students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Ability to work approximately 32 hours per week for the duration of the program
- Review and evaluate the required skills students must demonstrate
Compensation
- $45k-$50k
