About the role
- We are looking for a Department Assistant to join our legal team in Los Angeles.
- This hybrid role requires onsite presence 4 days a week or more, as mandated by the business.
Responsibilities
- Performs administrative and office support activities for 3-4 executives on the employment law team
- Manages calendars for all assigned executives on the employment law team, setting up and managing meetings, reserving conference rooms etc.
- Manages the expenses process for all assigned executives on the employment law team
- The trailblazer of the agency business, CAA was the first to build a sports business, create an investment bank, launch a venture fund, found technology start-up companies, establish a philanthropic arm, build a business in China, and form a brand marketing services division, among other innovations.
- The position supports 3-4 Executives on the Employment Law Team within the Office of the Chief Legal Officer.
Requirements
- Professional demeanor, good judgment, ability to problem solve and superior organizational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong prioritization ability and MS Outlook calendaring skills

- This role is hybrid, based in the Los Angeles Office.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of general office experience
- Reception experience a plus
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Compensation
- The base hourly rate for this position is in the range of $25.00 - $34.00.
- Ultimately, wages may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.

- This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.
