Responsibilities

Requirements
- Requires minimum 2 years' experience in a physical security, law enforcement, corrections, military capacity, or customer service in excess of degree requirements
- Pass State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge in an administrative or technical area.
- Works on assignments that are usually within an area of expertise that are semi-routine in nature.
- As a state licensed Level III commissioned security officer, will be required to carry an ERCOT issued firearm at all times while on duty
Nice to have
- Minimum 2 years TXDPS Level III security experience operating under the ERCOT Security Training and Qualification Plan (Preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- TDPS Private Security Level III (Preferred)
