About the role
- Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders, the Scheduler Manager will ensure alignment with contractual requirements, milestone tracking, and proactive risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain fully integrated detailed engineering, procurement, and Construction (EPC) resource and cost loaded project schedules using Primavera P6, aligned with contract requirements and aviation project milestones.
- Lead schedule coordination between PACT, subcontractors, suppliers, and interface partners (e.g., RSSOM, enabling works).
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to plan purchasing timelines for materials and long-lead items.
- Support commercial and claims teams with documentation for delay impact analysis and entitlement reviews.
- Minimum of 10 years' scheduling experience, with at least 5 years in a lead scheduling role on large capital infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience developing and managing complex Primavera P6 schedules for major transit or aviation programs.
- Strong organizational and analytical capabilities to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
- PACT (Pearson Accelerator Construction Team) is a General Partnership of Alberici, Amico, Kenaidan, and Obayashi, supported by design partners Egis, Mott MacDonald, and Weston Williamson + Partners.
- This multi-year program is designed to address immediate passenger growth demands while preparing Canada's largest airport for the future of air travel-including critical upgrades to airfield and infrastructure, greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, modernization of Terminals 1 and 3, and the creation of a world-class passenger experience.
- The Scheduler Manager will lead the planning and scheduling functions for a major aviation infrastructure project delivered by the Pearson Airport Construction Team (PACT).
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and schedule integration across disciplines.
- Experience with QSRA and risk-based planning in conjunction with risk registers.
- Background in aviation, rail, or public infrastructure preferred, including airfield or terminal construction.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with contractual terms related to scheduling obligations and delay claims is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Primavera P6, and schedule reporting tools (e.g., Acumen Fuse, Power BI).
