About the role
- The Network Coordinator, Volunteer Programs, plays a key role in supporting CPF's virtual programs and volunteer engagement initiatives.
- The role also involves administering volunteer onboarding, fostering an active virtual community, and supporting CPF's social media presence to enhance visibility and connection.
- Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of virtual volunteers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and delivery of CPF's virtual programs, including the French Tutoring Program and the Content Creator Program.
- Foster a sense of community among volunteers through regular communication, virtual engagement activities, and community-building initiatives.
- Support CPF's social media accounts to promote programs, recognize volunteer contributions, and engage with the broader CPF community.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of resources and tools that support virtual program delivery and volunteer involvement.
- Working closely with the Network Manager, Programs & Projects, this position helps deliver high-quality experiences through the French Tutoring and Content Creator Programs.
Requirements

- 3-years of experience managing volunteers.
- Experience with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook) for engagement and outreach.
- Currently pursuing or have completed post-secondary education, preferably in education, communications, language studies, or a related field.
- Strong interest in French second language learning and youth engagement.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Knowledge of Better Impact management Software.
- Candidates must legally be entitled to work in Canada.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector, member or volunteer-driven organizations, is considered an asset.
Skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, both virtual and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, JotForm, etc.).
Compensation
- Renewal is planned on a yearly basis, dependent on confirmed funding.
- Starting salary, that is paid bi-weekly, is commensurate with experience and qualifications ($50,000 - $79,000) annually.
