Responsibilities

  • Anchor commercial strategy in a deep understanding of disease biology, unmet patient need, and evolving standards of care, ensuring early pipeline programs are positioned to deliver meaningful patient impact.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams to develop and maintain disease area strategies that anticipate near- and long-term portfolio evolution and inform investment, prioritization, and governance decisions.
  • Build trusted, collaborative relationships with global partners to drive alignment, accelerate decision-making, and enable high-impact execution across functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 12 years' experience, OR
  • Master's Degree and 10 years' experience, OR
  • PhD and 8 years' experience

Nice to have

  • Prior oncology experience required.
  • Prior experience working with early-phase programs and understanding how early research & development decisions may impact a final product profile.
  • Proven experience providing clear recommendations to senior management and across functional areas.

Compensation

  • $243,100.00 - $314,600.00.
  • Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
  • These considerations mean actual compensation will vary.
  • This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
