About the role

- The GIS Technician is responsible for performing GIS editing assignments and coordinating the work of other employees.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in GIS or equivalent certification from a technical school of college grade.
Skills
- Track the status of construction on work orders by receiving and reconciling records from the appropriate systems.
- Provide coaching and training on work practices, procedures, functions, systems, and technology utilized by the GIS records group
- Train Company/Customer personnel in the understanding and use of all records systems pertaining to distribution and transmission work.
Compensation
- The salary range for this position starts at $45.15 and progresses in accordance with the union contract.
