About the role

Protara Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company committed to advancing transformative therapies for people with cancer and rare diseases.
The Company is evaluating TARA-002 in an ongoing Phase 2 trial in NMIBC patients with carcinoma in situ (CIS) who are unresponsive or naïve to treatment with Bacillus Calmette-Guérin (BCG), as well as a Phase 2 trial in pediatric patients with LMs.

Responsibilities

Additionally, Protara is developing IV Choline Chloride, an investigational phospholipid substrate replacement for patients on parenteral support who are otherwise unable to meet their choline needs via oral or enteral routes.
Develop financial plan to help the company meet its strategic goals by leading discussions with business owners across the organization and understanding their needs.
Propose and implement best practices for process and reporting enhancements.

Requirements

Demonstrable knowledge of financial accounting.
Demonstrated competence to handle a wide range of finance related responsibilities.
Strong background in forecasting.

Nice to have

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
Minimum of three to five years in a financial planning or accounting role.
Prior experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry preferred.
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning required
experience with NetSuite preferred.

Skills

Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning required; experience with NetSuite preferred.
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
Ability to understand data and transaction flows between systems.
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task successfully in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
Demonstrated experience working with and presenting to senior level management.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPA is required for this position.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Salary Requirements are between $125,000 - $130,000 based on job-related knowledge, experience, education, and skills demonstrated.
