Responsibilities

  • The eBay Seller Experience team is looking for a dedicated, creative, and highly experienced Staff Full Stack Engineer to help architect, design, and build scalable, high-performing software for sellers worldwide.
  • You will contribute to systems used by sellers to list inventory, manage their business, optimize performance, and grow successfully on eBay.
  • As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you will own end-to-end technical delivery across the full stack, from modern React-based user experiences to robust Node.js services and integrations.
  • You will also help shape engineering practices, mentor other engineers, and drive technical excellence across the team.
  • Collaborate closely with multi-functional partners, including Product, Build, and other Engineering teams, to deliver high-impact end-to-end seller experiences in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure high software quality, system observability, and operational excellence through comprehensive testing, continuous integration, and proactive production support.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers through code reviews, technical coaching, and design alignment, raising the engineering bar across the team.
  • Roles and Responsibilities Design, build, and deploy reliable, high-performing full-stack applications and APIs using React, Node.js, and TypeScript, translating complex business requirements into scalable architectures.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, and modern web fundamentals in high-traffic production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with modern engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, comprehensive testing, cloud-native observability, and AI-assisted development tools.

  • Skills and Experience BS/BA in Computer Science or related field.

Compensation

  • C$142,400 - C$190,100 Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience.
