About the role
- The Nuclear Company is hiring an AI Engineer 1 to join the Product Engineering squad and help ship the NOS modules that field teams, engineers, and operators rely on every day.

Responsibilities
- Participate in sprint ceremonies, contribute to technical discussions, and build context on how NOS supports nuclear construction and operations in the field.
Requirements
- Computer science degree or equivalent, with 0-2 years of professional experience (internships, co-ops, and project work count).
- Required Experience
Nice to have
- Good written and verbal communication, and willingness to learn the nuclear and regulated-industry context.
- Exposure to Palantir Foundry, or similar data/ontology platforms (Databricks, Snowflake).
- Experience with REST APIs, version control workflows, and basic CI/CD.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum development practices.
- Exposure to a major cloud platform (AWS preferred).

Compensation
- Estimated Starting Salary Range
- The estimated starting salary range for this role is $xxxxx - $xxxxx annually less applicable withholdings and deductions, paid on a bi-weekly basis.
