About the role
- Link Logistics Real Estate ("Link") is a leading operator of warehouses and business parks, specializing in last-mile logistics real estate.
- Established by Blackstone in 2019, the company connects consumption, technology, and the supply chain across its portfolio, which spans half a billion square feet.
- Exceptional performance will shape both the scope of the position and the broader AI strategy for FP&A and the firm.
Responsibilities
- Build & Ship AI-Powered Tools
- Design, prototype, and deploy AI-driven workflows that automate or augment core FP&A processes - budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, leasing analytics, portfolio reporting
- Build internal applications, dashboards, and agents using LLMs, APIs, and modern development frameworks (Python, JavaScript/React, SQL)
- Drive Process Transformation
- Partner with process owners to redesign workflows around AI capabilities rather than retrofitting AI onto legacy processes
- Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and training materials that enable the broader team to adopt new tools
- Support financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects as needed to build deep context on the business and its data
- Partner with teams across NOI, Valuations, Capital Management, Corporate G&A, and Asset Management Reporting to understand their pain points and priorities
- Develop fluency in the company's financial systems, data architecture, and reporting ecosystem (Yardi, Anaplan, Power BI, Databricks/Semantic Layer)
- Every day, we work to reinvent and lead our industry forward by thinking bigger and challenging the status quo.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience in finance, consulting, technology, or a related analytical field
- Strong financial acumen - you can read a P&L, understand a DCF, and speak the language of FP&A even if your background isn't purely finance
- Exceptional communication skills - you can explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Demonstrated ability to build functional tools or applications using code (Python, SQL, and/or JavaScript) - we care about what you've built, not where you learned it
- Deep, practical fluency with AI tools - you use LLMs, code assistants, and AI-powered workflows daily and can articulate both their capabilities and limitations
- High agency and ownership mentality - you thrive with ambiguity, move fast, and take initiative without waiting for detailed instructions
- Intellectual curiosity and a bias toward building - you'd rather prototype a solution than write a deck about one
Nice to have
- Experience in real estate, private equity, or asset management
- Familiarity with data visualization and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Experience with data platforms and semantic layers (Databricks, Snowflake, dbt)
- Exposure to financial planning systems (Anaplan, Adaptive, Hyperion)
- The Company is an equal opportunity employer.
Compensation
- $100,000 - $115,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link.
Benefits
- we want someone who can move fluidly between building a working prototype, pressure-testing a financial model, and presenting a vision to senior leadership.
Company info
- We leverage our scale, proprietary data and insights, and foundational focus on sustainability to drive success for our customers' businesses and deliver value for our stakeholders.
- We put our people, customers, and communities first and find ways to make a conscious, positive impact where we live and work.
