Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee financial reporting activities, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and support compliance initiatives.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members while managing workload priorities and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Experience working with confidential financial information.
  • Travel Required

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Accounting (MSA) preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA certification preferred.

Skills

  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Account reconciliation and month-end close processes
  • Knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership, coaching, and employee development
  • Process improvement and internal controls expertise
  • Financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Minimum of five years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience supervising or leading accounting professionals preferred.
  • Ability to prepare, review, and interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Experience analyzing financial results and communicating findings to management.
