Responsibilities
- Designs and implements training programs for new and existing kitchen staff.
- Reviews logs and reports to determine and implement improvements in processes.
- Supports kitchen operations during peak hours to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Collaborates with management to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for onboarding new cooks, developing skills, and ensured consistent adherence to food preparation standards, safety regulations, and company recipes.
- Mentors and develops others cooking abilities to become excellent cooks and communicators.
Requirements
- Required: ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within 90 days of hire/transfer
- Proven experience as a cook, chef, or culinary trainer
- Required: High school diploma or GED
