Responsibilities

  • Designs and implements training programs for new and existing kitchen staff.
  • Reviews logs and reports to determine and implement improvements in processes.
  • Supports kitchen operations during peak hours to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Collaborates with management to identify skill gaps and training needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for onboarding new cooks, developing skills, and ensured consistent adherence to food preparation standards, safety regulations, and company recipes.
  • Mentors and develops others cooking abilities to become excellent cooks and communicators.

Requirements

  • Required: ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification within 90 days of hire/transfer
  • Proven experience as a cook, chef, or culinary trainer
  • Required: High school diploma or GED
