Provide schematic design information including conceptual land development plans and project requirements.
Incorporate design concepts from schematic design into design development and work with project team to produce construction documents.
Coordinate project requirements with other design professionals and other design disciplines.
Document existing conditions and perform some troubleshooting.
Review drawings and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.
Edit word-processing documents and understand procedures for file saving, retrieving and transferring.
The Senior Civil Designer works with a Project Manager or Principal to develop design concepts which are developed and incorporated in final plan sets or deliverables.
The Senior Civil Designer can assume project design lead responsibilities under the direction of a licensed engineer.
They may direct staff designers and engineers to accomplish designs.
They may oversee the entire design process or assist as a technical expert on a specialized design.

Experience and proficiency in detail design work.
Must be proficient in the use of computer for design and understand CAD operations.
Understanding and knowledge of applicable codes.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Each person is expected to help in whatever duties are required to deliver a quality product on schedule.
Maintain neat and organized work area which allows efficient access to project information required by other team members.

Ability to keep and handle confidential documents.
Experience with Bluebeam.
Good communication skills and personable demeanor.
Detail oriented and organized.
Demonstrate a sense of pride and adhere to high standards and quality in the project.
Multi-task between projects and be able to work well under pressure.
AutoCAD & Civil3D Civil Engineering Understanding of Land
Surveying & Mapping CAD Standards & Instruction Civil3D training PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Potential to be around construction equipment when visiting job sites, be able to handle loud noises.
Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time.
Routine use of standard office equipment.
