Responsibilities
- Maintain confidentiality of information received, created, or processed.
- Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in production and related services.
- Perform various activities relative to the installation and relocation of existing machines and equipment to involve dismantling, erection, leveling, fitting and aligning operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine housekeeping activities in the Maintenance Department and ensure adherence to established safety procedures and cleanliness standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience and three to five years related maintenance experience
- Possess a working knowledge of pneumatics, machinery electrical wiring, PLC's, refrigeration and/or process steam systems
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and manufacturing software
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints
- Ability to problem solve and determine effective solutions to a variety of situations where limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
- Maintain required maintenance logs and files.
- Initiative and willingness to learn and gain additional knowledge
