About the role

Working closely with Account Executives, you will help shape deal strategy from early discovery through final decision, ensuring technical, operational, and business stakeholders align around a clear vision of value.
The ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and be able to be in the Mountain View or San Francisco office on occasion.

Responsibilities

Build Decision Intelligence Skills within the Aera Workspace to design innovative, customer-specific demos and showcase Aera's capabilities efficiently.
Drive proof of concept (POC), proof of value (POV), and skill-building initiation workshops
Collaborate closely with Delivery and Customer Success teams to define and present compelling solution deployment roadmaps.
Lead discovery sessions, design thinking workshops, and executive presentations to align solutions with customer priorities.

The Solution Engineer operates as a strategic partner to Sales, jointly accountable for advancing and winning complex enterprise opportunities.
In partnership with Sales, you will lead the technical narrative of the deal, translating customer challenges into a compelling future-state powered by Aera.

Nice to have

7+ years experience
3+ Years Pre-Sales role for an enterprise software firm
Supply Chain Operations Management exp i.e., Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, Inventory Management etc.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Well versed in process manufacturing and CPG, Chemicals, Pharma, F&B etc.
Experience with value engineering and business case development
Experience writing proposals and SOWs
Bachelor's degree, STEM Engineering or Computer Science
