Position Overview The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) plays a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the Housing Department and ensuring the safety, structure, and well-being of clients within a residential setting.
The ideal candidate will be compassionate, dependable, and capable of maintaining a therapeutic environment conducive to recovery.

Client Monitoring & Support Attend to the day-to-day operations of the Housing Department.
Make routine rounds and document appropriately.
Provide immediate support for client concerns and ensure their immediate needs are addressed.
Redirect clients respectfully when necessary to maintain order and safety.
Observe self-administration of client medications and document in Medication Observation Records (MORs).
Document all unsafe conditions and communicate necessary repairs to the Lead BHT.
With locations in Florida, New Jersey, Indiana, and Massachusetts, we deliver evidence-based clinical care in a supportive, structured environment.

Communication & Documentation Communicate all client concerns clearly and document as required.
Maintain accurate shift reports and other required documentation.
CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Qualifications / Required Experience A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a behavioral health, addiction recovery, or residential care setting preferred.

Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
