Responsibilities

  • Design patient-specific TMJ implants in accordance with established engineering procedures and surgeon preference listings
  • Evaluate CT scans and anatomical models for image quality, reference geometry, and suitability for design
  • Create 3D implant designs using CAD software based on surgeon input and patient-specific anatomy
  • Prepare design review packages, manufacturing drawings, and surgeon approval schematics
  • Partner with surgeons and field teams to incorporate patient-specific requirements into final designs
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and customer service teams to support design transfer and production readiness
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and clinical partners regarding design progress and updates
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and meet defined turnaround timelines for each case
  • Stryker is seeking a Design Engineer for our Customized Implants division in Ventura, California.
  • As a Design Engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment, working closely with experienced designers and clinical specialists to create patient-specific solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 0 years of experience in engineering, design, or related technical discipline

Nice to have

  • Basic understanding of human anatomy
  • CAD software experience, preferably SolidWorks
  • Travel Percentage: 10%

Compensation

  • US10: $76,500 - $122,000 USD Annual
