About the role

  • Learn to ensure that all services provided to participants align with Stepping Stone standards, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • These are basic duties of the Assistant Manager role; additional duties will be added for Manager role.
  • Assist in coordinating staff development and community outreach opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Learn to ensure proactive communication to maintain alignment, swiftly resolve conflicts, and support In-Home Service providers in their essential functions.
  • Maintain participant files and records to meet state compliancy.
  • Support regular monitoring via monthly home visits, bi-monthly reviews, and re-training as needed.
  • Support In-Home Services Director in the day-to-day operations of the lane.
  • Manage a caseload of participants (adults w/IDD), preparing for and attending Service Plan meetings and IDTs, maintaining files, and serving as liaison with members of their care teams.
  • Serve as the on-call manager for emergency support on a monthly rotation.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency by showcasing smooth operations and reduced issues with providers.
  • 1+ year experience working with a vulnerable population (IDD, Disabled, Elderly, Children)
  • Ability to commute to Littleton, CO 80128
  • Moderate tech skills required
  • Requirements of 401(k) enrollment; the employee must be employed for three months and be at least 21 years of age. *

Nice to have

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft systems, Constant Contact, tracking software
  • Servant style leadership training or experience
  • Strong self-leadership with the ability to navigate stressful or complex interpersonal conflicts while staying calm and composed.
  • Associate's degree (accredited) + 2 years' experience in human services
  • 4 years' experience in human services
  • Understanding of Colorado's Mandatory Reporting requirements of Adult Mistreatment
  • Full-time (minimum 40 hours/week) plus mandatory staff meetings

  • Learn to prepare and maintain protocols, care plans, annual assessments, and any other documentation necessary for quality care.
