About the role
- WTCR is one of the longest-serving medication assisted treatment networks in Texas, offering methadone and buprenorphine treatment and counseling for individuals suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
- Education/Experience Graduate of an approved LVN education program.
Responsibilities
- The staff nurse performs assigned nursing duties, including assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care, under the direct supervision of a WTCR physician.
- Maintain accurate medication and inventory records.
Requirements
- Required Licenses/Certifications
- Administer required lab tests, obtain urine toxicology screens, and/or draw blood or other bodily fluids from patients as ordered.
- Satisfactory pre-employment drug screen as required by the State of Texas.
Skills
- Skills and Knowledge Administer medications accurately and efficiently.
