About the role
- The Nguyen laboratory at Seattle Children's Research Institute invites applications for a post-doctoral fellow.
- Experimental procedures will primarily include animal procedures involving kidney injury models, functional assays, cell culture, and histopathology.
- will include executing experiments, record keeping, data analysis, method development and communicating with the rest of the research team.
Responsibilities
- Able to effectively analyze data and develop conclusions/hypotheses using accepted research methodologies
Requirements
- Ph.D. in a related field is required, however, training on current research areas in the laboratory will be provided.
- Knowledge of computer applications and ability to learn and apply new technologies and skills; proficiency using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & Access)
Compensation
- This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
- This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
- $80,172 per year
