- We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated representative level research associate to join our CDx Research and Development Department.
Responsibilities
- Working in a cross-functional team that supports clinical trials testing new targeted anti-cancer drugs, by developing tailored companion diagnostic assays.
- Performing project-related research and/or development in collaboration with others to develop immunohistochemistry assays, in situ hybridization assays, and possibly molecular biology-based assays.
- Carrying out technical design tasks which require use of planning and judgment.
- Solving technical design problems.
Requirements
- Experience with immunohistochemistry and microscopy
- 2+ years of related laboratory experience
- Ability to work both independently and within a team setting
- BS/BA or MS/MA in Biology, Biochemistry or related field
- Ability to follow Quality System regulations including Design Control
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organizational skills
- Analytical skills and creativity
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication
- Preferred Qualifications:
Nice to have
- Background in biology techniques including immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, fluorescent techniques, protein biochemistry
- cell biology and molecular biology
- Experience with assay/protocol development
- Background in one or more of the following: tumor biology, immunology, and histology

Compensation
- The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $73,958.00 - $115,560.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits.
