About the role

  • Asure's HCM offering includes Payroll & Tax, HR, and Time & Attendance software and HR Services ranging from online compliance tools to a fully outsourced HR department.
  • The ideal candidate will be located near one of Asure's hub offices such as Austin, TX; Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; Burlington, VT; Cherry Hill, NJ; Santa Ana, CA; Sioux Falls, SD; Nashville, TN; or Rochester, NY.

Requirements

  • 3+ year of professional experience with a modern programming language such as C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js with TypeScript
  • 3+ year of hands-on experience with both relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, GraphDB)
  • Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration
  • The ideal candidate will be located near one of Asure's hub offices such as Austin, TX
  • All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time.

Nice to have

  • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and distributed systems
  • 5+ years of professional experience in C#/.NET, Java, or Node.js with TypeScript
  • 5+ years of professional experience with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL)
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS DynamoDB or Neptune GraphDB
  • Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js, React)
  • The base range for this role is $100,000- $120,000 depending upon level of experience.

  • How you will contribute
  • We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our team focused on building platform-level services that power business-critical applications.
  • Our team primarily develops backend APIs-both RESTful and GraphQL-while also consuming APIs from internal and external partners.
  • In addition, we maintain a lightweight frontend repository that supports certain platform functions.
