About the role

  • Assess students with disabilities in an interactive process (interview, review of supporting documentation, and consultation with EAS team) to determine appropriate accommodations and the best assistive technology options for academic access.
  • Training before and during testing as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one student support for assistive technology such as, JAWS, Zoomtext, Speech to Text software, Text to Speech software, smart pens, digital recording/note taking software, accessibility features specific to platforms etc.
  • Provide and maintain excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • One or more years of experience in a customer service setting providing office or administrative support, including use of Microsoft Office Suite that includes Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with handling confidential/sensitive information.

Nice to have

  • Demonstrated experience with case management software.
  • Official transcripts will be required upon hire)

Skills

  • Effective use of electronic scheduling database systems to ensure effective coordination and oversight of testing accommodations.

Compensation

  • $19.00-$21.00 Commensurate with education and experience.
