Responsibilities

  • Bach-Simpson is the lead Event Recorder OEM in the North American Transit market.
  • It designs, develops, and maintains various electronic equipment for trains.
  • As a Specialist - Electronics Engineering and member of the monitoring team in Bach-Simpson, you will report to the Products Line Manager, and you will be responsible for the design, commissioning, and technical support of Transit and Locomotive electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems of varying size and complexity, under the direction of more senior team members.
  • Perform all aspects of technical work, including reviewing specifications, project documentation, circuit design and testing, and product testing.
  • Design and verify electrical circuits, schematics, PCB, hardware fixture, test jigs
  • Create accurate BOMs, Test Instructions, Assembly and Wiring Instructions.
  • Create detailed design documentation and estimate time to complete tasks

Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel to the customer site as required (10% or less)
